About Hope Brewery
Hope Brewery has been brewing in the heart of Pokolbin since 2014. Bold, flavour driven beer made on a working estate, best known for hoppy ales and IPAs, big fruit forward sours, and the black cans with the amp on the front.

The brewhouse
Brewed on the estate
We opened in 2014 with a focus on hoppy ales, and that still shapes what we do today, but the range has grown well beyond it.
Brewing on site gives us the freedom to work in small batches, try new things and keep the range moving. Some beers return every year. Others are brewed once, then disappear for good.
What we are known for
A broad range, brewed with intent
Hoppy ales and IPAs
Where the brewery started in 2014 and still where it is happiest. Pale ales, west coast IPAs, hazies and the occasional triple that has no business being that drinkable.
Fruit forward sours
Big, bright and unapologetic. Imperial sours built on real fruit, from pineapple and raspberry to pink grapefruit, plus mixed sour cases so you can work out which one is yours.
Stouts and strong beers
Trophy winning stouts, barrel aged imperials and high strength IPAs. Proof that a brewery known for hops is not a one trick operation.
Beer and music
The black cans and amp design are not decoration. The estate hosts one of Australia's biggest outdoor concert seasons, and the brewery has been pouring at it since the beginning.
Barrels and kegs
Time does the rest
Barrel ageing is where the patient beers live. Stouts and strong ales go into oak and come out months later as something else entirely.
The rest goes to keg and can, packed and shipped from the same site it was brewed on.
The black cans
From the source
The amp on the front of the can is not decoration. The estate is home to one of the biggest outdoor concert amphitheatres in the country, and the brewery has been pouring at it since the beginning.
XPA, IPA, Black IPA, DIPA. The core range is built to be drunk in a paddock with forty thousand other people, and it works just as well on a Tuesday.
Come and drink it where it is made
Around 30 beers, ciders and seltzers on tap at the cellar door, tasting paddles if you cannot choose, and the full range shipped anywhere in Australia.
